Denim has taken over summer and fall fashion forecasts. While the range in style and wearability is certainly welcomed, decoding all of the terms and descriptions each line releases can be a bit confusing.
Thankfully, our store was actually founded with a denim collection at its core years ago. While our products and fashion directives have modified over time, each season’s denim capsule is always strong and meets the needs of any clientele.
Our new HQ location has been filling up recently with fresh denim selections our buyers hand picked at market. From washes to cuts to brands, our selection is on point and ready to pair.
If you want some color….
- Black washes and creamy, ivory hues are huge this fall. These colors add some depth to the denim department within your wardrobe (yes, you should have a good selection to pick from at all times). Black options lengthen the body, which is always a plus. The neutral hues add a warm undertone and work well as an interesting neutral in comparison to your blue basics.
For the modern take…
- We are loving all of the “extra” denim designers have snuck into some seasonal styles this season. A criss cross waistline is ever-so-slimming and is a fun way to show off a trim middle section. It updates the everyday jean cuts and adds modern flair…which is CERTAINLY a trend seen on IG and celebrities across the board.
Let’s relax…
- Easing into fall denim wear has never been easier. Many current styles are nipped in at the waist with a wide, relaxed leg. Though cropped, these styles are flattering when paired with a sky high clog or booties that elongate the leg. With a basic tank for now and a chic turtleneck or bodysuit for later, these are worth the investment for sure.
Denim Toppers…
- Designers didn’t stop with denim at the waist this season! Denim jackets and blouses are HUGE this year and are the icing on the cake with dresses and casual wear alike. From standard jackets that received major upgrades to button downs with a nod to western wear, we are loving this fall look for sure.
