Some of us are warm weather people….others are lovers of all things fall and cooler temps. Regardless of which way your fashion pendulum swings, one thing is for certain….fur is fabulous. Whether wearing it to keep the cold temps at bay or popping a vest on as more of a statement maker, integrating some fur into your wardrobe is a fashion-must.
The texture and feel a fur piece can bring to an outfit is immeasurable. This season, our buyers went above and beyond in getting a vast range of fur options for e.Allen clientele. Some of our favorite looks this season for fur are as follows:
- The Bomber – This cut is certainly a fresh take for fall 2019. While fur can add weight to an outfit, a bomber jacket provides a great tailored take on this trend. A leopard jacket recently hit the floors of all three stores while a luxe cream one with coordinating leather trimming caught our attention as well. Pairing it with our slightly flared leg denim and textured animal-inspired booties is a great way to get that 70’s inspired look that is so on point this season. We even have a reversible one…two good bomber looks in a single piece…need we say more?!
- The Vest – A good fur vest goes a loooooooong way. There a simply too many ways to elevate a look with one. To capture the romantic look inspired at market and off recent runways, layer a black or dark-hued vest over a flowy, floral dress or slip it on over a French Connection lace blouse for an interesting texture combo. For a more casual approach, pop a lighter tone vest on over a graphic tee for a fall weekend event or layer one over a good button down. Any way you can sneak a vest into an outfit, do it!
- The Plush Coat – Looking chic in colder temps can be difficult. However, a plush fur coat or jacket will keep you warm and make you noticed in a great way.
