Spring was made for dresses. After bundling up throughout the winter months and frankly having no where to go, nothing is gaining our attention more than the fab dresses that are arriving at our headquarters each and every day. From stripes to florals….from pastels to neutrals….we are in dress up land heaven.
Style reports are almost certainly bound to vary; however, a few traits making quite a bit of buzz existing across the board amongst our favorite dress designers. Trends we are spotting are as follows:
TOP 3 Spring 2021 DRESS TRENDS:
- Floaty, sheer maxis – While giving us the comfort we have grown accustomed to, easy dresses are THE top item to add to your closet this season. Pairing a MISA maxi with some Zig and Voltaire tennies by day or our Yippy sandals by night, a feminine maxi can go the distance.
- Tiering – Whether a longer length or an empire-waist mini, adding blocks of texture or print into a dress makes it so interesting and visually appealing. Bella Dahl honed in on this must-has trend with a green, tie dye number we just got in AND added a sash. It will make everyone green with envy!
- Body Con – If you’ve got it, flaunt it! While the look might not initially seem like it’s for everyone, designers are adding some skin tight numbers to their fashion line up. If a dress this style is just a step too far for you, try popping a leather jacket over your shoulders or a tossing a cardigan over one!
While these top styles are certainly making their mark, this is just a sampling of what’s in store this season in the dress department!
