Kelsey Tomlin, our bombshell model and savvy Website Manager, has been with us for a year and a half, and we are so grateful to have her on our team (and site!) Brains, beauty, and heart… she has IT ALL! Get to know our Kelsey a little better!
Q: How did you come about acquiring your position or finding out about eAllen?
A: “I truly think God allowed me to find e.Allen just when I needed it. My journey started when my best friend Tabitha, who was already working for e.Allen, told me they were looking for a model and that I should try for the role. I began modeling for e.Allen’s website while still working my regular 9-5. As I continued modeling and being around the e.Allen girls I realized how much I loved the company, work environment, and everything it had to offer. I remember after the 15-year dinner, Tab and I were on the way home and I told her if a full-time position ever became available, I would be very interested in pursuing a full-time career with the company. Kid you not, the NEXT day the Website Manager Position became available, I applied and ended up getting the role. I can confidently say that I have never felt so fulfilled and valued by a company and team that is now truly considered my family. When I say I love coming to work, I MEAN IT!”
Q: What does your position entail?
A: “My main roles in e.Allen are running, maintaining, and designing our website, modeling and uploading new arrivals for our customers to shop online, managing online orders and inventory, and collaborating with my HQ team on email, print, and social advertisements.”
Q: What qualities do you hold that you think help in your position?
A: “Some qualities I believe that allow me to succeed in my position are my love for fashion, creativity, proactive go-getter attitude, and detail-oriented work ethic.”
Q: Who, if anyone, do you work with in your position?
A: “I collaborate very closely with all of my HQ team Elizabeth, Lex, Tabitha, Megan, and Devan daily, as well as frequently working with the store leads to ensure online orders are pulled efficiently and accurately.”
Q: What is your favorite part of your daily job?
A: “One of my favorite things about my daily job is I love getting to see and try on every single piece of clothing we receive. Modeling the clothes for the website allows me to get a great understanding of how different brands and styles run, fit, and look on a body. This makes it very helpful when talking to customers about different sizing and fits they are considering purchasing.”
Q: What has been the most challenging part of your position?
A: “One of the more challenging aspects of my job is not knowing how certain ads, emails, and designs will resonate or perform. We made it a huge goal to grow the website and customer reach last year, so trying out and testing new things can be scary but so rewarding when we see the progress that we have! AND of course not letting myself buy all the cute things we get in!”
Q: What has been the most rewarding part of your job or your greatest accomplishment?
A: “This past year we have had the highest website numbers and growth, which has been a great accomplishment for us all. However, the BIGGEST reward I have got from working at e.Allen has been the relationships I have made. I couldn’t be more thankful to be able to say that I have found a group of people that I absolutely love working with.”
Q: What has your favorite memory at eAllen been so far?
A: “One of my favorite memories with my e girls was definitely the Drake concert.”
Q: What do you look forward to the most at eAllen?
A: “I look forward to continuing to see both myself and e.Allen as a whole grows, learns, and succeeds! I truly couldn’t do it without all of my e.Team!”
