Lex’s Suggestion: Blue Sushi (specifically the Franklin location) – Their Happy Hour has a selection of cocktails, wine, margs, and sake- so there is a drink for any mood. The shared plates and wide variety of sushi, maki, sashimi, and nigiri have something for everyone, no matter your partner’s preference. The atmosphere is fun, making it a great first or second-date location! End the night with a short stroll full of conversation and laughs to Jeni’s for a classic scoop of ice cream, of course in a waffle cone.
Tabitha’s Suggestion: Lockeland Table – If you’re looking for the perfect date night spot, this place is my go-to. The ambiance is intimate, making it an ideal setting to enjoy quality time with your significant other. For the perfect meal, I recommend starting with a pizza to share, followed by the pork chops—they’re always a hit. Make sure to add the bread service to your order and the skillet cookie for dessert. And of course, nothing pairs better with a great meal than a glass (or bottle) of your favorite wine!
Kelsey’s Suggestion: Barcelona Wine Bar – The Spanish-inspired tapas and endless wine menu make it so fun and easy to try a variety of different dishes. Not to mention the overall ambiance and vibes are the perfect intimate yet lively date spot! Order a charcuterie plate to start, and let the rest of your night unfold.
E’s Suggestion: Sushi Bar – Wanting a unique experience? Look no further! Sushi Bar is an intimate omakase speakeasy that pushes the boundaries of tradition and reimagines the sushi counter experience. From new-wave nigiri and both land and sea delicacies, this 17-course dining experience is not to be missed. The unparalleled hospitality, chefs, and mixologists are sure to make your night unforgettable!
Katy’s Suggestion: Pinewood Social – The mix of food and fun that Pinewood has to offer makes it an ideal date spot. Getting competitive in the bowling lanes pairs perfectly with cozy conversation in the booth over some delicious food and drinks. A relaxed dinner in a memorable spot with an exciting activity is a preferred date in my eyes!
Devan’s Suggestion: A Night in – Sometimes the best dates are the simplest. Some quiet time alone together with a nice drink and good music is enough. Cook your favorite meal together, listen to or dance to music in the kitchen or the back porch, and enjoy meaningful conversation and connection with your significant other.
