Anytime Hollywood’s finest gather on the red carpet, we all get excited to see what extravagant ensembles and bold choices are made in the name of fashion. At this year’s 82nd Golden Globes, the list of notable names of attendees was arguably as long as the red carpet itself. Our HQ team made note of some of the most popular looks of the night, as we are sure you did on your own.
Anya Taylor-Joy in Dior: Taylor-Joy looked ethereal in a light pink cowl neck and open back slip that complimented her delicate frame. The floral and fringe shawl only added to the overall look along with the statement silver sunflower-esque opal necklace and bracelet, easily making it a favorite.
Zoe Kravitz in Saint Laurent: Elegant… Timeless… Simply Stunning. Need we say more? The contrasting white waist sash to bow perfectly complimented the black mermaid gown. Kravitz’s look is the one to remember when hearing the phrase, less is more.
Salena Gomez in Prada: This ensemble and Gomez herself were reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe and old Hollywood. The hair and tasteful diamonds perfectly complemented the romantic simplicity of the dress. The color of the dress and matching heels were also flattering to Gomez’s complexion, only adding to the overall beauty of the look.
Ariana Grande in Givenchy: While the color may not have been the most complimentary for Grande in the public’s opinion, the ensemble itself was demure and delicate. With an adorned bust and empire waistline that flowed into a tulip hem, the dress itself stood out. The choice to accessorize with white gloves and her choice of bangs gave Grande a resemblance to Audrey Hepburn, whether that was the intention or not.
Zendaya in Louis Vuitton: Zendaya’s was another look that felt like a nod to old Hollywood, especially with the hairstyle she chose for the night. The bold silhouette accentuated her natural shape without overwhelming her, and the color was more than suiting. Her diamond and emerald necklace added only elegance to the ensemble, as well her her debuted engagement ring!
Zoe Saldana in Saint Laurent: The juxtaposition of each of the pieces in the look is what makes it stand out as one of the most loved from the night. From the plunging sweetheart neckline and Cartier diamond pendant necklace to the fitted sequin dress, and voluminous flat shawl, Saldana surely stood out.
Demi Moore in Giorgi Armani Privé: Moore looked like a trophy herself in her gown. The simple curled hair meshed wonderfully with the striking neckline and silhouette of her metallic gown. By giving the gown its moment, Moore’s natural beauty was apparent to all.
